Oil

[Update 7/16/08: I've read from an unverified source that the date of the lecture was October, 2006. Ironically, within an hour of viewing the refresher video online, news broke that Iran has struck a new, giant oil deposit. Some sources are saying many things point to the third quarter of 2008, as the scheduled time for the collapse of the U.S. economy, but that's an informed guess. Time will tell.]
-----------------------------------
Son3 reported to me this morning something about the President authorizing off-shore drilling for oil. Much world and international news reported by major media outlets bounces off of me these days, because I've surpassed my saturation point and grown somewhat weary of having to run every report through both Biblical and shadow governing filters. I'm consigned to accepting what is, and I understand why it is.

So I replied, "It doesn't make any difference at all, and we'll never see any oil from this. Have I ever told you about Prudhoe Bay? We could have been energy independent decades ago. No American oil will ever flow to meet the needs."

I'd never forgotten having listened to the audiotaped lecture by Lindsey Williams in the early '80s. Neither had I ever thought or sought -- before this morning -- to refresh my memory of the facts. It was enough for me that I knew and understood that the only energy crisis our nation would experience was an orchestrated one. I'm not one to particularly enjoy (or retain) detailed information. Son3 thrives on details, though, so I decided to hunt-up some information online, and the boys and I had a nice current events class, thanks to YouTube.

I'd thought to put the YouTube film within this post, but it can probably be better viewed at the YouTube site, so here's the link: Lindsey Williams - The Energy Non-Crisis - Part 1 of 8

I think the film was made in '05 or '06, and you might bear that in mind as you watch. There are 8 parts, lasting 10 minutes each, and if your interest is piqued with the first, the succeeding clips are easy to locate in the YouTube sidebar. If you choose to view it upon my recommendation, I'd like to make a few comments:

Mr. Williams appears to have an important role in these days and may be relatively single-focused on his area of knowledge and expertise. My personal perspective is that he's presenting one small thread in a quite large tapestry, and I was unable to discern whether or not some minor points he makes are taking into consideration all the other threads. Neither do I think for a second that I'm capable of sorting it all out.

Having seen incontrovertible evidence (fruit inspection) that some specific people he names are willing participants and are not who and what they publicly claim to be, I can't agree with Mr. Williams' seeming inference that those named people holding national office are forced to commit their heinous sins. He cites valid examples of what can happen to people and their families, yet fear doesn't appear to be in the equation for those he names and who are absolutely complicit in the scheme. Their willing alliances, alone, are evidence enough as sure proof.

Most importantly, one fact is critical: as we're privileged to see and discuss Biblical prophecies coming to fruition -- when in the past, we could only guess how these things would be accomplished -- all this information about the world is of single good use to us; it is good for no purpose other than pointing people to the Lord Jesus Christ, as the end of time draws nearer daily. Particularly in the U.S.A., where life has in the past been free, the changes already made and the ones to come shortly will be jarring to most. Some may benefit from learning that the nation or leaders of a nation or religion or church or coven or Self or money or possessions upon which or whom they're relying to enhance, or even save, their lives cannot be trusted. There is One who can.

[NOTE: The videos may disappear. I have also read now that Mr. Williams is no longer speaking, writing, or involving himself in this matter, because of threats made against his life, which he only barely alludes to in his farewell here. Lindsey Williams' book, The Energy Non-Crisis, can be read in its entirety on the web here (and in at least one other place at this time). I have not in any way researched the site hosting the text of the book and know nothing of the site administrator or organization or purpose, etc., so if you explore elsewhere on the site, I've no idea what you'll run into.]

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. ~Luke 21:36

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. ~Revelation 22:16, 17, 20
