Cat-in-the-Box Not

He wanted to.
It wasn't gonna happen.

This is not his face.
If you could see his face, you'd know he was pretty sad.
Even his stumpy little tail looks sad, doesn't it.

Yep, that's a pretty sad tail.
Stop snifflin'.
Grab a tissue, and get a grip on yourself.

The very next day, a box arrived for Purrle.
Leaned against a wall, he stood on his hind legs and opened it.
Climbed right in.

We closed it for him.

Fat, happy Cat-in-the-Box.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  ~Hebrews 11:1

What is it about cats and boxes? At our house, Maggie's real passion is for hair bands. If my makeup bag isn't zipped up, she'll ransack it and pull out everything in search of a nice elastic hair band to bat down the stairs and eventually spit out in the cat food bowl.
