Scalloped Oysters
Turkey . Mashed Potatoes . Gravy -- in one mouthful -- my big mouth ºÜº
Ahhhh...Scalloped Oysters. My grandpa made these & always brought them to our Thanksgiving dinners. Daddy, Kay, & I were the only ones who would eat them. Funny you brought this up, CarolineNot, as I have been hunting recipes for that dish & want to take some this year for Kay & I. Could you possibly squeeze in time to send me your recipe???
Noodles...that's my favorite...Homemade Noodles
I second the oysters!!!
Cousin Annie, you should have been at our home last week to partake of the home made noodles which Aaron spontaneously invented and then proceeded to hang from the living room light fixture with a coat hangar. He's such a helper! *forced grin*
(results: pallatable)
Mmmmmm...Sound like yummy noodles...NOT!!! ;)
I forgot another very favorite of mine: Pecan Pie!!
I love the scalloped oysters, too, but I'm a sucker for a good sweet potato dish. And I LOVE pumpkin pie. mmmm...
Turkey, noodles, pumpkin pie, oyster stuffing.
French Silk Pie. Oh...also rolls and taters of any sort. :0)See you soon!
Cranberry Salad, dark meat of turkey, mincemeat pie, and green bean cassarole.
I must also add that the linen napkins, too, are an experience.
One that comes only so often.
