Devices can peer under passengers' clothes

BALTIMORE — "Body-scanning machines that show images of people underneath their clothing are being installed in 10 of the nation's busiest airports in one of the biggest public uses of security devices that reveal intimate body parts." (emphasis added)
The article ends, "Most passengers don't think it's any big deal," Schear said. "They think it's a piece of security they're willing to do."
If you haven't seen the images produced by these scanning machines, I wouldn't encourage you to seek them out. Stumbling upon articles about this new, additional source of privacy invasion perpetrated upon a largely un- and misinformed population, I inadvertently subjected myself to nude black-and-whites of strangers and quickly averted my eyes.
Yes, save us! Save us! Puts me in mind of guard-foxes and chicken coops.
This is just one of hundreds of examples of crimes against US citizens and freely relinquished (or stolen in the darkness, behind closed Congressional doors) rights in exchange for faux security against faux enemies, ridiculously reported (and believed) to have (impossibly) committed heinous crimes with simple little tools of the goods-shipping trade.
Being thankful again that my citizenship is in God's kingdom. In the past, I've largely stayed quiet on issues such as this, creating a fluffy little place here, mostly filled with stuff and nonsense. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: ...a time to keep silence, and a time to speak."
